“WOW!” The young man can SING. And anyone who listens to all of these great songs will see that. His talent is shining and I hope he continues to make music. Way to go Sanjaya!

Awesome!
Love the new CD! Music is a mixture of Indie and Pop = Sanjaya’s own unique style. I’ll admit I wasn’t sure what to expect .. the samples on the Amazon site aren’t great quality, but once I got the CD in my hands – I was pleasantly surprised. The songs are catchy and fun. I’m enjoying them very much and even went as far as adding them to my work computer, home computer, PalmTreo and mp3 player (of course!). ^_^x …more info

I was a fan on AI, but this is really embarrassing
Sanjaya has a nice tone to his voice and I actually liked him during AI and was hoping that with a little bit of vocal training and some good producing he could put out a decent set of songs. But this EP is embarrassingly bad. He sings worse than he sang on Idol and the songs are very amateurish borderline ridiculous. I have to agree with the reviewers who keep asking “is this a joke?”.

Sanjaya’s main problem is that he sounds like a plastic doll, empty of emotion. He sounds as if he is posing, being self-conscious of the attention, not expressing his real self. Does he even know who he is? He has no essence, no substance, an empty vessel.

I think he needs to put aside music dreams for a while and go to college to increase his intelligence a bit, gain experience, learn who he is and how to express himself. Then, provided he undergoes a ton of professional training and actually learns how to sing for real, his pleasant tone could get him somewhere, but only the nice tone of his voice isn’t worth listening to him.

Sanjaya you are so amazingly talented and have such an incredible voice! Our staff LOVES your CD; it’s totally RAD & Rockin’ because you are one spirit-filled dude. Although each one of your songs on the CD is unique and totally awesome, Track 1, ‘A Guy Like Me,’ is beyond extraordinarily insightful and Track 3 ‘A Quintessential Lullaby’ is Jammi’n Crazy! Your so ‘tuned-in’ to the surroundings of others, their emotions and know yourself so well that it’s easy for you to combine your voice, a God-Given-Raw Natural Talent, with the inner-depth perception of your own soulfulness in making an unequivocal connection into the souls and lives of total strangers…embracing personal things people feel and think but may not speak. This accomplishment is one of the highest and most difficult goals an artist tries to master and can potentially take years of training and experience in all facets of life. It’s one many never even come close to obtaining and you’ve done it easily, naturally and with great humbleness. With such an impending promise of songs that you will be delivering in the future, it’s something we all look forward to relishing. Your book is also a great inspiration and gives a phenomenal insight of the journey into American Idol, during and after the experience and so much more. Bottom line, the strength you have so well garnished to be cherished forever will be the praise and words of wisdom from amazing world-renowned music artists like Jennifer Lopez, Randy Jackson and many others and certainly not from couch-critiques…so, how many times can you say BOOYAH?!
