“Lots of fun” Willie and Wynton were obviously having lots of fun in this live recording. And the audience enjoyed it. Not great Jazz nor great country music, but a good CD to own and listen to, often.

Willie at his best ![]() Willie’s collaborations don’t always appeal to me, but this one does. It’s a great blend of musicians, and a joy to listen to. A real hit…. Great pairing Two thumbs way up!… Wonderl combination of two great talents! |

You don’t have to like Willie Nelson’s musical style or Wynton Marsalis’s to enjoy this outstanding coupling. Together they make new Music!. Relaxing and fun, I listen to it over and over and each time find a new gem hidden in the songs. Thanks guys for putting together such a fine piece of work. Buy people! Buy two and give as a gift. Worth every last nickel.
A gem of our time.
In a world where popular music is more about image than substance, this breath of fresh air blows from a happy place far away from the musical world that lives on the radio.
A really enjoyable listen, this is a blues album that makes you feel like you’re up on the stage clapping and shuffling right along with these guys. If you’re trying to expose your kids to something great that isn’t recorded 30 years ago, this is it.
I would recommend this album to anyone, blues fan or not. This will make you want to find a sunny spot on the porch with a tall glass of lemonade and smile like the good ole days are here and kicking.
