“Deer Fortress Review” I’ve just begun putting this product in my yard so I don’t know yet how effective it is. I do know though that the enclosed “stakes” are thick bent wires which must be straightened or cut before using. Either of these is difficult unless you have very strong hands.

    I put these out last year and the deer left our willow trees alone. So this year I will put them in with the fruit trees. Also, if you go to a dog groomer, get clipped animal hair and tuck it in and around your plants, it keeps the deer and rabbits away. …more info

    Deer Fortress didn’t work
    We purchased a 6 pack of DeerFortress and the product was promptly shipped and received in 2 days. We unpacked and unwrapped as in the instruction and placed them in our yard as recommended. We thought for the next couple weeks they seemed to be working as the geranium blooms remained in tact. Then it happened. a 30foot row of geranium blooms were mostly gone. Snipped off at the bloom same as before. Product appears to be like others we’ve tried. Didnt work for us. …more info

    Don’t waste your money!
    I live in northern NJ on the NY state border where the deer population is a nightmare for gardeners like myself. I had been using a product with great success for nine years (Bobbex), when all of a sudden, last summer, it no longer deterred our resident deer population and they annihilated my gardens. I was very hopeful about this product and so, ordered 7 6-packs. The night I received them I opened one package and placed the cannisters relatively closely (4′ apart) in a single garden. Two days later, the emerging foliage had been eaten to the ground. It did not good whatsoever. I immediately shipped the other six packages back, disgusted.

    Home and Beyond was very gracious, refunded me in full for the six packages and explained that although some areas of the country do well with this product, others do not. And so, please save your money if you are located anywhere near me. This product might has well have been tap water for all the good it did. …more info
